Official Language
The
official language of the Course is English.
Certificate
of Attendence and Course Credits
The
course particants will get Course certifacates which may be, depending
on the policy of the graduate program, recognized as part of the curricula
required for MSc or PhD degree programs.
Invitation
Letter
An
official invitation letter from the Mind and Brain III Directors will be
provided upon request. It is understood that such an invitation is intended
to help potential participants to raise funds or to obtain a visa. This
invitation does not imply a commitment to provide any financial support.
Request should be sent to one of the Course directors.
Passport
and Visa
A
valid passport is required for entry into Croatia. Very few nationalities
must have a visa. Please consult the nearest Croatian Consulate for specific
details.
Personal
Insurance
The
Course registration fee does not include insurance. Participants are responsible
for their own insurance. Health and accident insurance is recommended and
has to be purchased in your country of origin.
Weather
The
weather in Dubrovnik in spring time is sunny and very pleasant with an
average daytime temperature of 20oC. Average temperature of
the sea near Dubrovnik in May is about 19oC.
Clothing
Light
clothes, walking shoes, jackets for evenings, sun hat, sun glasses,
and sun protection creams are suggested.
Electricity
Electricity
is supplied at 220 volts A/C, 50 Hz cycle.
Currency
and Exchange Facilities
The
official currency of the Republic Croatia is the Croatian kuna (HRK). Foreign
currency may be exchanged at banks exchange counters and exchange offices,
at post offices and travel agencies, hotels, and airports. All major credit
cards are accepted in most hotels, stores, and restaurants.
Changes
The
organizers reserve the right to adjust or change the program as necessary.
